Elliot Warren has been practicing law for over thirty years. His practice is diverse, with a focus on litigation; both criminal and civil, in both State and Federal Court. His areas of concentration include: both traditional and white collar criminal cases; tort, tax, contract, lease, employment, probate and family law issues. Elliot has been practicing law in Westport since 1990. Prior to that, he was affiliated with the law firm of Silver, Golub and Teitell in Stamford, Connecticut. From 1974 until 1987, Elliot served in various branches of the Department of Justice, including the Antitrust Division (under the honors program), the Office of the United States Attorney for the District of Columbia, and the Office of the United States Attorney for the District of Connecticut (where he was chief fraud counsel).
Elliot obtained a BA degree, with distinction, in Economics from the University of Rochester, and his JD degree, with honors, from the National Law Center of the George Washington University. He is admitted to practice in Connecticut, New York and the District of Columbia, as well as several Federal District and Appellate Courts, U.S. Tax Court and U.S. Claims Court. He is a member of the American Bar Association, Connecticut Bar Association, Stamford Regional Bar Association and is active in several of their subsections and subcommittees. He has lectured regionally on various aspects of Criminal Law and Legal Ethics.
Elliot’s clients include both business, small and large, and individuals. His goal is to provide pragmatic, exceptional and personalized legal advice and service at a reasonable cost.
