Peter
L. Leepson is the sole member of Peter L. Leepson, P.C. He has been
practicing
law for over thirty years. From 1966
- 1980, Peter practiced in New York and was a partner in the New York
City law firm of Leepson, Rubman & Ross. During that time, he handled
many complex commercial real estate transactions, including the purchase
and leasing of 444 Madison Avenue, the purchase and leasing of 250 Park
Avenue, the purchase of 711 Fifth Avenue, the leasing of 545 Park Avenue,
as well as many large purchase, sale and lease transactions at several
locations in the Metropolitan New York area. The firm also handled many
transactions throughout the Northeast. In addition, Peter has handled
the probate and administration of many large estates.
Since moving his office to Connecticut in 1980, Peter has served as
special real estate counsel to several large corporations, including
American Thread Company and United Rentals. Further, he has had several
large real estate transactions throughout the Southeast. In addition,
he has an active practice in the purchase, sale and financing of residential
real estate and has represented several lending institutions, including
Washington Mutual, Bank of Westport, Ameritrust Mortgage Investors and
Wells Fargo Bank.
While in New York, Peter was active in the National Realty Club and
has served as its Vice President. He has lectured extensively before
professional organizations on various aspects of real estate law.
Since
moving to Connecticut, Peter has been involved in several charitable
organizations, being
the founder and serving as the first President of
the Men’s Club of the Jewish Home for the Elderly of Fairfield
County and serving on the State Committee of the Anti-Defamation League.
