Beginning in the mid-1990’s, several lawyers and businessmen with deep roots in the Fairfield County and the New York metropolitan area entered into an agreement to lease office space together. As a result, Lawyers with complementary practice areas, who were now sharing offices began using one another as resources and referrals. The original group had a unique component in its midst – a non-lawyer consultant specializing in business turnaround and corporate consulting.

What was originally an office sharing arrangement became an avenue for sharing information and creating convenience and value for clients. The atmosphere was collegial yet informal. The actual firm of RiverSide West was conceived in 2003 when several small law firms and two consulting firms decided to approach business with a unique strategy: provide clients with the depth of both business and legal expertise.
